Frequently Asked Questions

Advanced Technologies is an OFFICAL Oklahoma Department of Labor authorized instruction and examination agent. We offer both Low and High-Pressure licensing for Class-1, Class-2, Class-3 or Class-4 operators. Class-1 courses are specific to those wishing to obtain a Supervisory Level license and includes content on code and Oklahoma State law governing boiler operations. Class-2 and 3 licensing is covered in our High Pressure Steam Operators course and Class-4 is covered in our Low Pressure Steam and Hydronics course. We also offer site specific classes that meet the requirements for the state exam but focus on the owners specific boiler installation. 

Course cost is based on number of students in the class and travel expenses. Typical per student cost is $550.00/student minimum of eight students and a maximum of fifteen students. Overnight Travel outside of Oklahoma City is $350.00/Day plus $0.65/mile depending on actual expenses.

Most courses run 3-4 days or 24-32 contact hours.
